I had a wonderful stay at this cozy hotel right in the heart of the village. the room was impeccably clean, and I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the bedsheets. Each morning, I was delighted to receive a small fruit plate as a complimentary benefit. I highly recommend taking a tour to Saona island with the hotel, as the price is very reasonable. Bayahibe is an extremely safe place, allowing us to feel comfortable walking outside even late at night. José, the manager of the hotel, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. He also offered a value transfer service, which made our stay in Bayahibe even more enjoyable. the room itself was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a little balcony. We had hot water, a safe, a fan, and air conditioning in our room, ensuring a pleasant stay. the hotel's central location was ideal, as it was close to everything in town, yet still quiet as it was away from the main road. It was a nice touch that they offered a plate of fruits, as well as tea and coffee, to start the day.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach and the center of the village where there were many nice restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even offered complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and fruit.

There were some neighborhood cats at night that made a lot of noise, which could be a bit annoying.

We had a fantastic experience at Villa Baya! the hotel had a great clean room and terrace, and the neighborhood was very nice with friendly locals, beach bars, and affordable places to eat. the staff and host were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with information about trips and travel in the Dominican Republic. They even went above and beyond by giving us a ride to La Romana when they had a similar journey. the daily plate of fresh fruits and coffee in the morning was a delightful touch. We originally planned to stay for just one day but ended up extending our stay to four nights. we highly recommend Villa Baya and can't wait to return.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The hotel provided free breakfast which was quite convenient. the hotel was located in a prime area which allowed easy access to public transportation and nearby beaches. the apartment was spacious and clean.

There were some noise issues with neighboring animals that could cause disturbance. the water pressure in the shower was not always consistent.

The hotel offers amazing trips and excursions, and the staff is friendly. Plus, the nature reserve nearby is stunning.

I could perfectly enjoy my beauty sleep with the lovely serenades of roosters and blasting music. Such a harmonious symphony, love it!

The apartment was nice and had a comfortable bedroom with air conditioning. The location was great, close to restaurants and bars. the hotel had secure parking which was convenient for those with rental cars.

The mattress was too firm and could have been more comfortable. It would have also been nice if there was better protection against mosquitoes, such as mosquito nets.
