We always go for self catering. the apartment was superb - spacious, excellent kitchen, aircon, ceiling fans, private garden, private Jacuzzi. Lovely pool and gardens maintained impeccably. Staff is very nice and helpful. the pool area gives you a real rest, pool is clean, and open 24h. Beach by the sea, is also clean, just a bit of seaweed. Apartment Studio 702A: Inside the room wi-fi and tv worked well, In the kitchen : the washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave etc. worked well, but kitchen utensils are old and insufficient. Large and comfortable bed. Room cleaned not everyday, but often enough. I really enjoyed my stay here. I only booked for 2 days and wished I had a couple of more days there. Eduardo was wonderful and very helpful. When I needed to get to Playa Macao, he gave me great directions and assured me it was close by. I liked the kitchen so I could have my morning tea and fruit. Loved the washing machine. the other gentleman at the front desk gave me some other great recommendations as well. I also enjoyed the access to the Beach that the condo has and wish I could have taken the helicopter rides that was available. Next trip I suppose. Lastly, I really enjoyed the breakfast. I had the typical Dominican meal and it was really well prepared.

The place is visually pleasing. It has a large pool, comfortable rooms, and chilly air. The staff are friendly. Beautiful women can be seen. Great value for the price. The apartment we rented is spacious with three bathrooms, perfect for a group of friends. Convenient location with daily beach transportation. The swimming pool is fantastic. Balconies offer amazing views. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet.

For the price we paid, we were definitely impressed with the value and quality of the room at Karibo. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was convenient, just a short ride into Bavaro, and the staff treated us like VIPs throughout our stay.

The curtains were in poor condition and the WiFi and TV didn't work properly. the water pressure in the shower was low and the bed was uncomfortable.

the staff provided us free chocolates and cookies upon arrival, which put us in a festive mood. the resort was situated close enough to a bustling town where we were able to explore local shops and restaurants. the free shuttle service to the nearby beach was an added bonus, making beach trips a breeze.

My overall experience at the resort was underwhelming. the room was unclean and one of the bathrooms smelled so badly that we were unable to use it.
