I recently stayed at Chilcabamba Lodge for a few nights and it was an absolute dream. The entire property is beautifully styled, creating a cozy and homey atmosphere. I loved coming back to a bedroom with a warm fire lit every afternoon. The food at the lodge was incredible, keeping us well-fed during our stay. The surrounding grounds were stunning, with walking trails and a trout pond in the back. The guide, Patricio, was incredibly helpful and made our horseback riding and hiking adventures unforgettable. The owners, Eugenia and Carlos, worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort. This is definitely one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed.

Rooms have fireplaces and the staff, especially Jesica, speaks English. The food is good, fresh breakfast with fruit, granola, toast, and eggs. Dinner is also good, slightly pricey. Good location, 6 km from national park, bikes for rent. a nice stay.

The location of the lodge was ideal for our Christmas getaway, being just a short drive away from the stunning national park. We loved being surrounded by nature and having easy access to hiking trails. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. the authentic food served at the lodge was delicious, giving us a taste of local cuisine.

There were a few aspects that could have been improved. Our room was on the smaller side, while the bathroom was spacious but quite cold.

I recently had an incredible stay at a lodge near Cotopaxi National Park. the rooms were cozy, complete with a fireplace that added a touch of warmth and charm. the staff, especially Jesica, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Jesica's ability to speak English was a huge advantage and made communication a breeze. the food at the lodge was delicious, with a fresh and satisfying breakfast offering fruits, granola, toast, and eggs. the dinner was a bit on the expensive side, but the quality made it worth it. Plus, with no other restaurants nearby, it was convenient to have dinner at the lodge. the location of the lodge was perfect, just 6 km from the national park. They even offered bike rentals, allowing us to easily explore the park. All in all, it was a wonderful stay at the lodge.

The rooms were beautifully designed and very comfortable. the view from the lodge was breathtaking, especially the sight of the majestic mountain. the food served at the hotel was excellent, and we loved every meal we had. the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed.

The road to the lodge was extremely bumpy and made the journey longer than expected. It was quite challenging, especially for small cars.

For the price, we got great value at Chilcabamba Lodge. The room was cozy with a lovely view of Cotopaxi, and the staff treated us like family. The location was perfect, close to Cotopaxi National Park and with beautiful surroundings to explore.

Located near Cotopaxi National Park, the hotel's design is cool but limited in views. The staff, although understaffed, are great and accommodating. The rooms are gorgeous with perfect views of Cotapaxi volcano. The food is exceptional, especially the three-course dinner. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect, organizing activities and making packed lunches. The room is cozy with a comfortable bed and a fireplace.

Beautiful lodge, cozy rooms with wood-burning stoves, and attentive staff. Great base for exploring Cotopaxi National Park and nearby attractions. Organized trips available, but renting bikes and hiking are also recommended. Delicious food throughout the day.

Cozy and authentic atmosphere with a wood burning fireplace in the rooms. Quick and helpful staff who turned on our heater while we were eating dinner. Panchito loaners provided for added comfort. Great local guide who took us horseback riding and hiking to the waterfalls. Incredible view of Cotopaxi, especially on clear days. Adorable and cozy rooms with a wood burning fireplace. Convenient location near the North Entrance of Cotopaxi National Park. Clean and spacious property with lovely outdoor and indoor areas to relax. Welcome drink upon arrival and easy check-in process. Generous box lunch with a variety of food items. Poncho-like coats in each room to borrow for chilly weather.

Thin walls between rooms, making conversations and snoring easily heard. Inconsistent hot water in the shower, often changing from warm to chilly.

We had an amazing stay at Chilcabamba Lodge! the location is superb, with stunning views of Cotopaxi National Park. the cabins are cozy and well-heated, especially those with wood stoves. the bathroom facilities are basic but sufficient, with plenty of hot water. the beds are comfortable, and the wood stoves create a warm and cozy atmosphere. the communal area, where breakfast and dinner are served, offers breathtaking views of the volcano. the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the lodge is one of the best trekking-style accommodations we have ever stayed in.
