During our stay at this hostal, we were impressed by the attentive staff and spacious rooms. They even offered laundry service, which was a convenient bonus. Unfortunately, my partner had an accident and broke her leg while we were in Baños, but the staff showed great care and consideration for her situation. Despite the setback, this hostal provided a comfortable place for us to cope with the injury. The location was good, especially for those with cars, and the family rooms were generously sized. We particularly enjoyed the substantial and delicious breakfast, as well as the lovely garden out front.

The breakfast was delicious and served efficiently. the location of the hotel is great, away from the noise of the downtown area but still within walking distance. It was also conveniently close to the thermal baths. the staff were very helpful, providing recommendations on things to do and arranging tours.

The internet was sometimes slow or didn't work at all. the walk from the city center to the hotel, especially after dark, was not pleasant due to desolate streets and dogs.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The value for our money was fantastic - the room was spacious, clean, and had a great view of the mountains. The location was perfect, just a short taxi ride away from the town center, making it quiet and peaceful. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They organized tours for us and even personally drove us to some amazing sights. The breakfast served every morning was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hostel in Banos. the room at Hostal Monte Carmelo was bigger than expected and even had an extra bed, which was a pleasant surprise for our group of 6. the facilities were simple, yet well kept and very clean. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the owner spoke English, providing us with great advice on things to do in Banos. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread, cheese, jam, scrambled eggs. the location was ideal, with a beautiful view of the mountains and just a short walk to restaurants, markets, and buses. it was a comfortable and cozy stay at a great price.
