As women travelling alone, we loved the attentive and gracious couple who ran the hotel. They provided helpful assistance with our daily travel itineraries, making sure we knew the bus stop locations and pick-up times to the minute. The room was spacious and equipped with hot water, tea, and delicious cakes. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were complimentary and absolutely delicious. The onsen was a luscious and rejuvenating experience, and we also enjoyed getting a glimpse of the Japanese living quarters of old. the stay was brilliant and the food prepared by the owner was a highlight.

Felt like home, no complaints at all.
