Mosquitoes were a bother.

We loved the responsive owner who made our stay at this beachfront hotel even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a minute's walk to the lagoon where we could see flamingos and marine iguanas. The walk through the lagoon to the nearby tortoise farm was a highlight. Cycling to the mirador was also a great experience, with beautiful beaches and lagoons along the way. The lava tunnel was a unique attraction and the view from the ocean-facing rooms was breathtaking. The hotel's kitchen facilities were a plus, although we highly recommend trying the small restaurant in the mercado for delicious and affordable local cuisine.

I had an amazing stay at a cozy hotel just steps away from a beautiful beach. The manager, Abel, was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking. The location was perfect - close to a bar that served the best mojitos and near the center of Isabella where I found great rates for snorkeling with seahorses and sea turtles. I would highly recommend this hotel for a true Isabella island experience.

We stayed at La Jungla for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. Our room had a stunning view of the beach, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was magical. The staff, particularly Abel and his family, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided us with great recommendations on things to do, helped us schedule a taxi, and even offered free bananas and filtered water. The kitchen was well-equipped, the hot water in the shower was a rare find, and the location was perfect for exploring the island.

Plus, the nearby restaurant El Cafetal had great Wifi, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. the owner, Manuel, was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He even moved us to a room with two twin beds when we realized the original room had a double bed. the location was perfect, just on the outskirts of town but still within walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, and shops. the views from the top floor room were breathtaking, overlooking the beach. La Jungla had everything we needed and we were extremely content with the price and accommodations. It truly is the best place to stay in Isabela.
