Stayed at this hotel in a great central location. The staff was helpful and provided an early breakfast for our early tour. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with a stunning architectural design. The district surrounding the hotel is exciting, with plenty of restaurants, parks, and bars. The concierge was very helpful and the breakfast provided was solid. If you're driving, I recommend using one of the pay lots nearby as street parking is not available. a great base location for exploring the area.

The Database Room at Rio Hotel was simple, clean and had a comfortable bed. Good value for money. The hotel is very centrally located, making it convenient for exploring the town. The dining lounge offered decent views of Chimborazo during breakfast. The shower had hot water, and the staff even accommodated our early breakfast request at 6:30am before our biking tour at 6:45am.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable! It is right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the lively streets and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Riobamba. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The free wifi was a bonus, especially considering that it was much better than other places we stayed in Ecuador. Another advantage was the spacious corner suite we had, which provided beautiful views of the city.
