We had an amazing honeymoon experience at Michanti! the staff, especially Pablo, made our stay wonderful. the Surfers Lodge was cool, and we loved the reading spot and resting nest. the breakfasts were delicious, and the pool and hammock area were great for naps. the short walk to the beach was convenient. the organized trip to the Tamanique waterfalls was fun, and Pablo even surprised me with a birthday cake. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in El Zonte!

We had a fantastic stay at Michanti! the staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home. the beautiful property has a lovely garden with a pool, perfect for chilling out. the rooftop hammock area was a great spot to relax and take in the surroundings. the whole experience was unforgettable and we can't wait to come back. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, exciting tours to explore beautiful surroundings, delicious food, clean and aesthetically pleasing rooms, perfect for families with kids.

Good location with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. Friendly and helpful staff who were always available to assist with any requests. The hotel premises were clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.

The breakfast provided was somewhat lackluster and could have been more substantial. Additionally, the billing policies seemed questionable, with inconsistent pricing and extra charges for certain payment methods.

Loved the hot spring tour, especially smearing mud on my face. Michanti is the perfect place to relax, with a pool, hammocks, and yoga. The Ultralight Tour was exhilarating. Learning to surf in El Zonte was a blast. The coffee here should win a medal. The Volcano Park was stunning.

Oh, and the best part was definitely when I had to share the pool with a family of geese. #NotAwkwardAtAll

I had the most amazing stay at a hidden gem in El Zonte. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel like family. One evening, I had a panic attack and a gentleman at the hotel was incredibly kind and calming, even making me a cup of tea. The facilities were fantastic with yoga, hammocks, ping pong, and a pool. The food was delicious, especially the massive oversized burger. Although there was no hot water, I didn't mind because the cool showers were refreshing. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and welcoming experience.

Good food, clean rooms with private bathrooms. Cool hammock area surrounded by nature. Friendly staff, accommodating to pets. Swimming pool with enough beds and entertainment options like taco night with a DJ.

Loved relaxing in the hot spring pools, getting muddy in the volcanic mud bath, and trying out the temazcal experience in Ahuachapan. Also enjoyed the shared amenities like the pool and hammock lounge. Great place to unwind and chill.

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Tamanique waterfalls, perfect for exploring. While not directly on the beach, it's just a short walk away, allowing you to catch some waves. The rooms are comfortable, featuring great mattresses and air conditioning. Guests can indulge in delicious breakfasts and relax in the pool area or the hammock space. a pleasant stay with many facilities and room advantages.

Some guests may find it inconvenient that the hotel only provides cold showers.

We stayed at Michanti for 6 nights and it felt like a second home. the staff and owner Pablo are incredible, going out of their way to ensure a great stay. They arranged excursions and even set up a surf lesson for me. the restaurant offers amazing food with a diverse menu. the location is convenient, just a quick walk to the beach. the architecture and design create a lively, community atmosphere. the premises are well-maintained and the rooms are comfortable. the warm welcome and friendly staff made us feel at home. an excellent experience.

They even gave us complimentary coffee and breakfast which was a nice surprise. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and other attractions. the pool area was great for relaxing and enjoying the sun.

The rooms were a bit cramped and the lighting was poor. It felt like we were in a dark, small space.
