The value for our money at Lagarza was excellent. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the stunning beach. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Breakfast offerings could have been more varied.

The views from the hostel are absolutely breathtaking, especially when you wake up in the morning. The proximity to Shalpa beach, a stunning volcanic black sand beach, is just a 30-second walk away. The staff at the hostel are incredibly sweet and friendly. The hostel offers a private environment as it only has a few rooms.

Tricky road upon arrival - need bigger car.

The location of the hostel is splendid, with a semi-private beach in a small cove, offering access only to local residents. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with necessary amenities. The menu at the restaurant is small but varied, serving good portions of tasty food. the bar offers a nice variety of cocktails at reasonable prices.

The entrance to the hotel is difficult to find and the road leading to the property is rough.

The Lagarza Hostel in La Libertad was a great place to chill and get away from the city. Private and peaceful, it was just what I needed to relax with friends. The cleanliness and service were top-notch, whether I stayed in the 4-bedroom dorm or the king premium suite. The spacious beds and well-equipped facilities made my stay comfortable, and the outdoor private bathroom was incredibly relaxing.

Everything is what we need and want.

I stayed at La Garza for a relaxing getaway and was not disappointed. The service was exceptional, the food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beach was pristine with stunning views. The staff, including the host Daniel, made me feel right at home. Special shoutout to Pitufo and Luna, the adorable pets. La Garza is truly a hidden gem.

lagarza hostel in la libertad was even better than my previous stay! the view, the room, the food, and the drinks were all amazing. daniel and his staff were fantastic, making sure we had a great time. the pool and beach access were a dream. can't wait to go back!

Road to get there was a bit challenging.

Lagarza was an amazing experience! We loved everything about it. the friendly staff made us feel like valued guests and were always happy to help. Even before our room was ready, we had access to all the amenities. the breathtaking views, beautiful foliage, infinity pool, and private beach made us feel like we were in a jungle paradise. the rooms were comfortable with AC and fans, and we particularly enjoyed the open-air and private bathroom. Hearing the waves at night was so peaceful and tranquil. the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We can't wait to come back and bring more family members!
