I got great value for my money at Bern Boutique Hotel. The room was clean, decent, and had a welcome tray with tea and coffee. The location was convenient, with easy access to buses and a short walk to the old town. The staff was friendly, always smiling, and provided excellent service.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to the central bus station and just outside the Old Town. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The shower floor being at the same level as the rest of the bathroom without any barriers or slope towards the drain was not the most practical design.

Great value for the price. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to provide everything we needed, including wake-up calls and taxis. The location was perfect, as it was conveniently located between the ferry terminal, main city, and old town. We also appreciated the fact that there was no noise from the neighboring bar, which made for a peaceful stay during the quiet time of year.

The rooms left much to be desired. They had a hospital room feel to them and the smell in the corridors and rooms was unpleasant, constantly smelling of food.
