The pool villa was stunning! Loved the private pool and the amazing views. The room had air conditioning, a minibar, and a private bathroom. The spa, right by the ocean, was so relaxing with the sound of waves. The staff was super helpful, really made our stay special.

The beachfront villa provided incredible ocean views and a fabulous plunge pool. Staff treated us like family and went above and beyond for our needs. Kayaking and snorkeling were standout activities, truly enjoyable.

Some service aspects fell short. restaurant wait times were frustrating. The limited Wi-Fi access only in public areas hindered connectivity, making it challenging to stay in touch.

Consider bringing your own snorkeling gear as the provided sizes may not fit properly, limiting your underwater exploration experience.

I can’t believe the terrible food quality and the awful noisy room I was stuck in. It woudl ve been nice if I got some special treatment for all the discomfort. The staff just didn’t seem to care. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t. What a disappointing experience overall.

Spent six nights soaking in the tranquility and beauty of the hidden paradise that is Matamanoa Island Resort. The beachfront bure was spacious, the views from the deck breathtaking, and the staff incredibly friendly. Meals were delightful, especially loved the evening cultural entertainment. Only downside was occasional waits at the restaurant, but it didn't detract from the experience.

Enjoyed the private beach, but sea lice were an irritating surprise during swimming.

During my stay, I used the kayaks to explore the island and enjoyed paddling around a small rock filled with bird life. The greetings from the staff made me feel welcomed from the start. The gardens and pathways were organized nicely, adding to the atmosphere throughout my visit. I appreciated the range of activities available, especially the scuba options which made for an enriching experience. I traveled solo, and being immersed in nature felt rewarding.
