I had an amazing stay at Aakenus. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the city center. The highlight of my stay was the fantastic Finnish sauna in my unit. It was private and heated up quickly. I enjoyed a sauna every day of my stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of choices. I also appreciated the storage room for my bags until my room was ready. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of Rovaniemi. It was close to the city center, making it convenient for exploring the attractions and restaurants. The staff provided excellent service and were always ready to help. The breakfast offered a wide assortment of options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Additionally, the rooms were equipped with modern amenities such as a water kettle and a fridge, making our stay comfortable and convenient.

Enjoyed my Xmas stay with a great breakfast offering a hot meal. the location of the apartment was perfect for amazing Xmas lights views and close to a popular museum. the apartment was impeccably clean and well-equipped with a kitchenette.

The kitchen facilities appeared dated, but not problematic in any way. There were no curtains in the room, so the Venetian blinds could not darken the room effectively, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.
