I couldn't believe the value for money at Catalpa. The room was comfortable and felt a touch luxurious, and the sandy beach nearby was a huge plus. The staff were friendly, funny, and made us feel at ease with all the necessary safety measures.

Food for breakfast could have been better, with more variety.

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The reception staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel is a pleasant 20-minute walk along the lakeside from the old town, with a faster bus option available. The on-site parking was easy to use and there were additional free parking options nearby.

We had a wonderful family vacation by staying at this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront and near the center of the city, yet it was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed for a restful night's sleep. The service provided by the staff was excellent, always polite and helpful. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and everything was of excellent quality. Plus, there were great facilities such as a children's playground and a beach nearby for the kids to enjoy.

The only minor drawback was that the bathroom was a bit small, but it was still fine and well decorated.

Had a great city break here! the hotel was in a fantastic location, close to the lake and only a short stroll from the main town. the rooms were comfortable with modern amenities and clean bathrooms. the breakfast had good quality ingredients and a great simple formula. We enjoyed the nice bar that was available inside the hotel and outside. the parking was safe and we were able to reserve a spot. it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it.

Last year, we stayed at Hotel Catalpa for a satisfying stay. The room was clean and adequate, with excellent amenities such as comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and a good shower. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to the lake and a beautiful lakeside cycle track. The breakfast offered a wide range of delicious options, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Free parking across the road was a bonus, although it could be limited during peak seasons. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay with excellent food.
