Charming historic atmosphere, excellent food, beautiful and spacious rooms, perfect location.

My Christmas stay at this hotel was enjoyable. The beautiful decor of the well-preserved ancient building added a touch of charm to the experience. I particularly liked the fact that there were two dining options - a fine dining restaurant and a more casual one where I could watch the skilled chef cook over an open fire. The food was rich and delicious, truly a treat. the key location of the hotel allowed me to explore the fascinating town with its beautiful buildings and green spaces.

There were a couple of downsides to my stay. the breakfast buffet was a bit sparse, leaving me wanting more options.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the town, making it easy to explore the surroundings. it is close to a golf course, perfect for golf enthusiasts looking to enjoy a round or two during their stay. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a traditional style, with oak beams adding to the charm. Guests can also enjoy delicious meals at the restaurant, where cooking is done on a wood burning grill and spit roasting. the staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The service during the evening meal was reported to be poor, with several guests not being served and even walking out without speaking to anyone.
