I arrived at Casa Alta after a strenuous hiking trip, looking bedraggled and smelling like the trail. Despite the language barrier, the staff warmly welcomed me and made my stay comfortable. The guest home was beautifully clean and the traditional rooms were charmingly decorated. The highlight was definitely the huge, luxurious shower in the attached bathroom. The breakfast was included and offered a relaxed and tasty start to the day. I had a wonderful experience at Casa Alta and would highly recommend it to others.
