I had a memorable and amazing dining experience at the fabulous restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible, the best I have ever eaten. The staff, although a bit inexperienced, were all very nice and attentive. It was definitely worth the splurge.

While some parts of the chateau were a bit rundown, the overall experience was still enjoyable. The left wing foyer and stairs leading to the rooms were a bit creepy at night, but perfectly fine during the day.

The location of the restaurant in the evening was absolutely stunning. After enjoying aperos on the terrace that overlooked the parc oriental, we were able to visit the famous nearby Japanese garden. Although the service in the restaurant was a bit slow, the staff were still very attentive and polite. The room we stayed in had a cozy atmosphere and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, and the view from the dining area was breathtaking.

The Wi-Fi connection in the hotel was quite weak.

Loved the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful decoration for the festive season. the staff made an effort to make everyone feel welcome and accommodated. the restaurant served an amazing Christmas dinner with great wine choices. Loved the scenic view from our room and the peaceful location of the hotel. Great for those who want to escape the city noise.

The room was quite outdated, and the walls were thin. It was noisy at night, and we could hear people talking and walking in the hallway.

During my recent stay at Chateau Colbert, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing location just a stone's throw away from Puy de Fou. The proximity to the village with its stunning Japanese garden and the tourist information center showcasing the Tour de France display was a real treat. And let me tell you, the restaurant at Chateau Colbert was the icing on the cake! We opted for the 45 euro menu, which included wine, and even our picky 10-year-old daughter had the best chicken and potatoes she's ever tasted from the children's menu. It was truly a wonderful experience for our family, and if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely book more than one night. highly recommended!
