The Chateau De Perreux enchanted us with its underground reception area, accessed by a sleek modern lift that added to the sense of adventure. Our children were thrilled as the doors opened to reveal a charming lobby filled with historical beauty. We felt like characters in a fairy tale! Exploring the nearby Grand Aquarium of Touraine was a highlight for our family. The kids were amazed by the colorful marine life and interactive exhibits, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

The building itself is truly impressive, as it is built right into the limestone outcrop. The grounds are lovely, with a beautiful entryway through a cave and an old aquarium to explore. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The combination of luxury and everyday features is wonderful, with an excellent pool right next to a lush garden full of tomatoes and gourds. The extensive grounds also have hammocks scattered around for relaxation.

We highly recommend this place to everyone.

The location, tucked away right against a hillside, provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room amenities were superb, including a mini-bar, sitting area, and terrace with garden furniture. We also enjoyed the delicious meals at the on-site restaurant and relaxing by the outdoor swimming pool. The hotel's facilities, such as the sun terrace and seasonal outdoor pool, added to our overall enjoyment.

We stayed at a charming castle built in the early 1700s, located in a stunning location down by the river. The view from the common areas was breathtaking, and we spent our evenings relaxing by the water. The room had all the necessary amenities and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in one of the different common areas of the hotel. It was a truly memorable experience.

The wifi was only available in the downstairs common areas, making it inconvenient for guests who wanted to use it in their rooms.

During my recent stay at this charming chateau, I was captivated by its unique architecture and rich history. The hotel is built into the hillside, with an impressive parking garage that is actually carved out of limestone. The interior walls are also made of limestone, adding to the character and charm. The owner's plans to restore the damaged parts of the hotel, like the atrium and aquarium, show a commitment to preserving its heritage.

The only downside to our time at the chateau was the poor WiFi, which was only available in the lobby. This proved to be inconvenient for us in this digital age.

The staff were friendly and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens and relaxing by the pool. the option to use bikes to explore the area was a great touch. the location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, being close to Amboise and other attractions in the area.

We opted to find breakfast at a local bakery instead. on this occasion, we were allocated a room that wasn't of the same standard as our previous stays.

We loved our recent stay at Chateau De Perreux. The rooms were palatial and spotless, with all the modern facilities we needed. The grounds were beautiful, with wild deer and Herons to admire. Exploring the caves and pathways on the grounds was a unique experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh and organic food straight from the local farm. We especially enjoyed the organic yogurt and the local cheese that we could only find at this farm. Dining by the roaring fireplace with classical music playing was an enchanting experience. the property exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return.

We felt privileged during our stay and have no complaints.

A delightful surprise at Chateau De Perreux, The Originals Collection. The continental breakfast was simply delicious with fresh local bread, fruits, and yogurt. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival, even providing a light supper. The spacious and comfortable rooms provided lovely views. The heated pool and grounds were a wonderful bonus. highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at a French chateau! the breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we loved that they offered complimentary wine and cheese tastings. the location was perfect, within driving distance of multiple chateaux, and the grounds were stunning for a leisurely stroll. Our room was so comfortable and equipped with everything we needed.

The WiFi was a bit spotty in certain areas, but it didn't bother us too much since we were trying to disconnect and enjoy our vacation. We were also hoping for more options for lunch on-site, but we found plenty of nearby restaurants to try out instead.

If we had to mention a downside, it would only be that we wish we could have stayed longer at this wonderful hotel.

The food made from local produce and veggies was mouth-watering. I loved lounging by the heated pool and borrowing the canoes. Cycling, canoeing, and wine-tasting were great activities. The blend of traditional and modern decor was surprisingly appealing. The underground reception was unique.

Seriously, who needs a parking garage inside a mountain? So unnecessary.
