I had a lovely stay at this charming and well-maintained guesthouse. The rooms were beautifully decorated and stayed cool even without air conditioning. The staff, particularly Gilles, were incredibly helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable. The highlight was the in-house wine tour, where I got to taste excellent wines. The location is perfect for exploring the Medoc region, with many nearby restaurants and stunning chateaux.

The chateau was absolutely stunning, with comfortable rooms and a beautiful terrace. The manager, Gilles, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He booked wine tours for us and provided great restaurant recommendations. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and we loved the peacefulness of the surroundings. We can't wait to go back.

There weren't any local restaurants nearby, and getting a taxi was a bit tricky. It would have been nice to have a table d'hôte arrangement at the hotel.

We loved our stay at Chateau Ormes De Pez in Saint-Estephe. The staff were fantastic, the rooms spacious and well decorated. The lounges and breakfast room were beautiful and comfortable. The pool was fabulous and the outdoor seating areas were homely.

This hotel is a great base for exploring the Bordeaux area. Its location is perfect for visiting nearby chateaux and indulging in fine dining experiences. The staff, especially Giles, was brilliant in organizing dinners and wine tours, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, with large comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent, with a nice selection of local products and homemade treats.

Staying at Chateau Ormes de Pez was an absolute delight. Giles, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The rooms were lovely and the pool was a great place to relax. The dining experience was also exceptional, with delicious meals prepared by a chef and set up by Giles. The location in the Medoc region is perfect for wine enthusiasts.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the tranquil setting of the non-touristy Medoc wine country. The quaint and beautiful rooms are spacious, well decorated, and provide excellent views. The location is perfect for trips in the Bordeaux area, allowing easy access to many fine Chateaux and fine dining experiences. The service provided by Gilles and his staff is top-notch, and the basic amenities are ideal, including a very comfortable bed. The breakfast offered at this hotel is simply outstanding, with a variety of fresh breads, pastries, eggs, and meats. Staying at this beautiful chateau was a real treat, especially in the lovely, sunny room.

The Chateau had a lovely terrace for breakfast, but I didn't have time to enjoy it. The coffee shop/cafe was a nice touch, although I didn't have time to try it either.

Shame I didn't have time to enjoy the amenities, but who needs relaxation anyway?

The attentive staff is always ready to assist, and the homemade breakfast served in the cozy dining room is delicious. Additionally, the property boasts a pool at the bottom of the garden, providing a refreshing escape from the summer heat.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms may be a downside for those sensitive to heat during hot summer months.

The room was spacious and full of character, making us feel like we were staying in a manor or chateau. The property had beautiful gardens, perfect for relaxation. We enjoyed a free winery tour and tasting. Mathilde, the host, was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Gills and Nadezda, the other guests, were also helpful and provided an upgrade to our room. Gills helped us organize wine tastings and book restaurants.

my recent stay in saint-estephe exceeded all expectations! chateau ormes de pez was a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable property integrated with a winery and vineyards. the host, gilles, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was exceptional, even couriering forgotten cheese to our paris address. highly recommend!
