Great location, amazing staff, delicious breakfast, modern room facilities, beautiful view from balcony.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were modern and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, from providing breakfast boxes for my trips to teaching my husband some Spanish. The location was also great, as it was close to the market and not too far from the center of Coban. The breakfast was delicious and included in the stay. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, transportation, location, breakfast.

Nothing, everything was great!

We stayed at Matalbatz for a few days and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and the facilities were comfortable. Our room at the back of the upstairs floor offered great privacy. When we had car troubles, Rafael and Patrizia, the owners, went above and beyond to help us, even taking us on a mini tour while our car was being repaired. The inclusive breakfast had excellent quality with many menu choices. We would stay here again without hesitation. Outstanding hospitality!

Shower wasn't hot enough.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel with its excellent cleanliness and friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of the market area, next to the market itself. It's just a short distance from the center of the city, making transportation easy. The breakfast options were fantastic and I particularly loved the pancakes. Plus, there was secure parking available for guests.

The breakfast was tasty and filling, and they made sure to accommodate any requests I had. Despite being centrally located, there was no noise to disturb my sleep. I highly recommend this hotel for its great value and excellent service.

the location was central and close to everything I wanted to do. Despite some traffic noise in the morning and day, being in the heart of the city meant easy access to markets and restaurants. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was excellent. They were kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests. Lastly, the rooms were clean and well-maintained. I particularly loved that my room faced the street and received beautiful morning sunlight. this hotel offered great value for money and attention to detail.

There was a lot of noise, especially early in the morning, which made it difficult for light sleepers like me to get a good night's rest. I would suggest asking for a different transportation recommendation.

That the roof was made of materials that made even tiny rain very loud and disruptive, making it difficult to sleep during rainstorms. However, we hope that this issue can be resolved quickly by the hotel.
