As young people, we loved the old-worldly elegance of the hotel's decor. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided 5-star service. The level of attentiveness and care given to guests was exceptional. The hotel's location was perfect and the rooms were beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed the tea and coffee station and the free non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge. The courtyard garden added to the charm of the hotel.

There was nothing I didn't like.

From the moment we stepped into Clarance Hotel, we were captivated by its charm and elegance. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our room, themed after a Baudelaire poem, was exquisitely decorated with attention to every detail. The Clarins toiletries in the bathroom added a touch of luxury. The breakfast spread was superb and the staff accommodated our dietary preferences with ease. We were pleasantly surprised by the stately courtyard garden, a true oasis in the heart of the city. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as a slow breakfast service and absence of air conditioning, our overall experience at Clarance Hotel was exceptional. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a delightful and memorable stay in Lille.

Great start to the new year! Loved the charming historic building and the modern and stylish design. the hotel was perfectly located and easy to explore the old town's attractions. the breakfast at the cozy wood-panelled library was exceptional, and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. the farmers' market that took over the courtyard was an added advantage and a unique experience. a lovely stay.

There was no air conditioning, and we had to open windows, which allowed bugs to enter the room. the soundproofing in the room wasn't effective, and noise from the street made it difficult to sleep.

This hotel is an absolute luxury oasis! From the exclusive amenities in the room to the incredible private facilities, everything was perfect. The Garden area was especially delightful, a serene and peaceful sanctuary filled with greenery. The service was impeccable, with staff attending to every need, including providing an in-room breakfast that was truly delicious. a perfect experience for a relaxing weekend away.

The noise level from the Bar/ Lounge area, it was a bit disruptive at times. However, it didn't detract from the overall experience, and the staff were happy to move us to a quieter room upon request.

The hotel's location in the heart of the old city made it easy for us to explore all the attractions and restaurants nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful room decor, especially the elegant furniture and luxurious bed linen. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served delicious food in traditional surroundings.

We were disappointed to find that the breakfast was overpriced for what was offered.
