One downside is that there is no elevator, so be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs to reach your room.

We stayed at a small hotel on a quiet street in the old city. the staff at Croix Baragnon was extremely attentive and helpful, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Even though there was no elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor, we enjoyed the picturesque view of the old city. the central location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the tramway from the airport and a short walk to the Metro. Claire, the receptionist, went above and beyond to assist us and provided valuable tips for navigating the city, especially during the strike. We also appreciated the nearby grocery store and the charming terrace outside the reception area.

The location of the hotel is excellent, situated in the heart of the older part of the city near St Etienne church. You can easily walk to all the main attractions and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The bathroom facilities could be improved as the showers struggled with proper drainage.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being close to the city's attractions and the older part of town. We enjoyed being able to easily walk to the Musée des Augustins and explore the charming streets nearby. the hotel had a unique and funky feel, which added to its charm.

The lack of attention to detail in the room. The shower curtain didn't fully protect the water from getting outside the shower tray, and the towel rail had fallen off and not been replaced.

As business travelers, we found the hotel to be ideally located near the city center. The staff arranged a late check-in and gave us helpful local recommendations. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Amazing value for money.
