staying at grand hotel de l'abbaye was a fantastic experience. the location is amazing, right next to the bridge over the loire, making it easy to explore. the staff were super friendly and always willing to help. we really loved the terrace view while enjoying our freshly cooked dinner. definitely worth the stay!

Evacuated my guts hearing the wobbly bathroom fittings in our room, but that breakfast buffet was sweet as! So many local treats, loved it!

During my stay, I enjoyed the view of the river from my room. The service was helpful, especially Alexi, who assisted with transportation and made the fires for me to enjoy. The local village had historical sites and good places to eat. Breakfast was from food grown by the monks, which added a nice touch. I appreciated the access to nature and the chance to explore the area. Being from Rome, I find these experiences enriching.
