the man at the desk was super friendly and helpful, despite not speaking much English. Several eating establishments were within walking distance, making it convenient for dining options. Hotel Akena City exceeded my expectations, surpassing my previous stay in Caudry.

Great budget hotel! Perfect for our New Year's getaway. The beds were comfy and the shower was small but excellent. We loved the fact that the hotel had excellent car parking with great security. The gates closing overnight gave us peace of mind. , the hotel's key location made it easy for us to explore the nearby WW1 Picardy locations.

There were a few things we didn't quite like. the breakfast had limited choices and the breakfast area looked a bit messy and untidy.

We found Hotel Akena City to be conveniently located near local shops and a supermarket just across the road. Plus, there's a fantastic restaurant, Buffalo Grill, right opposite the hotel. The cleanliness and functionality of the hotel impressed us, especially as we were on a cycling trip. The bike storage was secure, and the rooms were well-maintained. we highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The hotel offered self check-in which made the process easy. The breakfast, although limited, had some options available. However, there were no good breakfast options nearby.

No in-room tea/coffee facilities, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room rather than having to head downstairs to use the vending machines. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak and kept coming in and out, which was somewhat frustrating.
