I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right next to the bustling shopping district, and it was so easy to find public transport to get into the city center. Plus, being in the old part of the city added so much charm to my experience. Everything was within walking distance, including all the shops I wanted to explore.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who efficiently checked me in. The room I stayed in was beautifully furnished with elegant decor, creating a sense of understated luxury. The bathroom fixtures were of high quality, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. The hotel is situated in a lovely part of the city, next to a charming Abbey which added to the ambiance. The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my stay. The hotel's restaurant also exceeded my expectations with excellent food. I had a wonderful experience at De L'Abbaye Lyon - Boutique and would highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely nothing.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right next to a charming old church and with beautiful views of the river. It was also conveniently close to the metro and within easy walking distance from the main station. the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. They made us feel at home and provided excellent advice on transportation, restaurants, and must-visit sites.

the curtains in our room could not be properly closed, which meant that we were woken up very early in the morning by the sunlight. the design of the bathroom sink was aesthetically pleasing but impractical, as it couldn't be filled due to the lack of a plug.

On my weekend away, I found a gem of a place. Nestled near a beautiful old church, a stroll away from stunning river views and a quick walk from the main station, the location of this boutique hotel was perfect. the friendly staff facilitated an earlier check-in and allowed us to store our luggage while we explored. the breakfast spread was delicious, and the reception staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great transport and restaurant recommendations.

While the hotel itself was great, we had a bad experience at the restaurant. the restaurant staff was unorganized;

the gothic-style property has stunning stone walls and high ceilings, creating a truly gorgeous atmosphere. the rooms are immaculately decorated, featuring a mix of art deco and stone wall details. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. the location is perfect for sightseeing, with the Presqu'il and Vieux Lyon areas just a short walk away. If you're arriving by train, it's only a 10-15 minute walk from the Perrache station, making it very convenient.

The building itself is beautiful, with stone walls and high ceilings, giving it a charming and historic feel. The rooms are well-decorated and comfortable, with modern design and stone wall details. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for bars and restaurants in the area.

The breakfast service could be improved, with servers needing more initiative to replenish food and drinks. the scrambled eggs were too salty and took a long time to be replenished when requested.
