Great location near shops and main square. Secluded feel, despite being in the city center. Refurbished rooms with high ceilings and tasteful decor. Convenient paid parking available. Generously appointed bedroom and bathroom with plenty of space.

We had a fantastic stay at a small family-run hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, providing heaps of useful information about the city and restaurants. The hotel was situated in a perfect and very private location, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in this city. The room was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed. Parking at the hotel was a real bonus, and the breakfast buffet was good value, plentiful, fresh, and tasty.

Centrally located and value for money. the breakfast was good, offering some extra options besides the typical French breakfast. the staff was generally lovely and helpful.

The parking lot was small and we had to leave the car keys outside. If arriving late, this could be a problem.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a few steps from the theater and all the sights. the service at Du Mail was exceptional - the staff went above and beyond to help us with recommendations for nearby restaurants and how to reach special attractions like the Cointreau distillery. the breakfast at the hotel was also great, with a wide selection of delicious pastries and cakes. the best part was the convenient parking in the small courtyard, which was a huge help since there is no parking close to the hotel.

stayed in angers before, but this time du mail blew me away. central location for easy exploring, and friendly staff made me feel right at home. loved the old charm and comfortable rooms. and the parking was a breeze!
