The hotel itself exceeded my expectations - the rooms were stylish and comfortable, with a huge, comfy bed. I loved the small convenient features like the smart light switches and the good shower. The breakfast was superb, with plenty of food options to choose from, including desserts, yogurts, pancakes. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to the nearby boulangerie/patisserie and close proximity to the castle and the old town on the other side of the river.

For under 40 euro, we found this hotel to be great value for money. It was definitely better than any similar Airbnb we could find at this rate. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

my second stay in carcassonne surpassed my expectations! the helpful and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. the clean and comfortable room had a great view of the castle. i loved the convenient location near the old town and the delicious pastries from the bakery across the road. overall, a fantastic experience at ibis budget!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with a supermarket and a patisserie within walking distance. the proximity to the Citadel is a major advantage, allowing for a quick visit. the room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the Pyrenees. the wifi and air conditioning worked well.

The rooms were on the smaller side and lacked certain amenities like a fridge. the shower design was not ideal, causing water to splash outside the shower cabin.
