We stayed at Ibis Budget for one night before catching our ferry back to the UK. The hotel's location outside the walled city was perfect, avoiding the hassle of restricted access and busy roads. We chose Ibis Budget for its proximity to the ferry, and it was just a 3-minute drive away. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, directing us to free parking and the best route to the Old Town. The staff spoke excellent English, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other places we've stayed in. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, along with a fantastic double shower. The lovely lighting around the room added a relaxing touch that we didn't expect from a budget hotel. For the price we paid, we felt like we got the best value and service.

The room at Ibis Budget was surprisingly clean and comfortable, providing a much-needed respite from the hot weather. We also appreciated the convenient location near Tour Solidor and the start of the coastal walk to Intramuros. Despite being outside the main tourist area, there were still good seafood restaurants within a reasonable walking distance.

The air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly, which made the room uncomfortably hot. Additionally, there was some noise disturbance from neighboring rooms that went on throughout the night.

The best aspects of my stay at this hotel were the excellent breakfast and the close proximity to the ferry terminal. the breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was delicious. It provided a great start to my day. being just a short walk away from the ferry terminal was incredibly convenient, especially during the Christmas season when I had a lot of luggage to carry.

The worst aspects of my stay at this hotel were the noisy ground floor room and the lack of nearby parking for larger vehicles. the room I was given was on the ground floor and I found it to be a bit noisy due to the street outside.
