The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially during the busy dinner hour. The breakfast included in the price was fantastic, and the restaurant menu was lovely. The beds were very comfortable, and the crackling peaty fire in the bar added to the picturesque ambiance. The hotel also had a charming garden, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.

Noisy main road outside - couldn't open window.

The Nags Head definitely gave us great value for our money with a well-decorated and clean room. The location was lovely, and the staff treated us with excellent hospitality. Dusty the house dog added an extra touch of warmth and welcome.

We arrived at 8pm and were delighted to find the bar open and serving delicious food. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the pub/hotel had a charming and authentic feel. The room was clean and comfortable, with beautiful beams adding to the character. We especially enjoyed the fantastic breakfast with an excellent selection and wonderfully cooked dishes. Helen, our host, was amazing and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. we had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend this hidden gem.

The floor boards in the rooms can be quite noisy, causing guests to feel self-conscious about the noise they make when walking around.

I had a lovely stay at a charming old pub with great food. The staff at the Nag's Head were helpful and tried to find a solution when there was a mix-up with our room. Although we ended up with a mattress on the floor, the pub's character made up for the inconvenience. The breakfast was excellent and the pub had a pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. The location, despite being in the middle of the country, was perfect for our needs.
