The hotel had a buffet breakfast with sweet and savory dishes, great for stuffing my face. The staff were friendly. And they even had a lighter breakfast option, in case you didn't want to make a pig of yourself.

They also had a lovely walk to the beach, so I had to actually exercise. Ugh, the horror.

We had a great stay at Ibis during our trip from France to Portugal. the hotel's location was excellent, with convenient access to both the rail and bus stations. We found it easy to reach the river side by cutting down from the St Jean de Luz to the Cibourne road bridge, avoiding the need for a taxi. the walk into St Jean de Luz along the estuary was lovely, offering beautiful views. the town itself was buzzing, and we highly recommend having a meal at La Majestic, where they even welcomed our little dog.

We had a fantastic stay at Ibis! The newer style with the pod-type bathroom was clean and efficient. The lobby had a nice bar and breakfast. We loved the free parking garage since street parking was scarce. The location was perfect for walking to Ciboure harbor and exploring the charming town. I highly recommend this hotel.
