As a history enthusiast, my stay at La Maison Pavie was an absolute delight. Housed in a tastefully restored 16th-century building, the property seamlessly combined period furnishings with modern comforts. My room, although not very large, was perfectly adequate for my short stay and boasted beautiful Villeroy and Boch fittings in the open-plan bathroom. Every detail was thoughtfully implemented, from the intriguing book about M. Pavie to the refreshing freshly squeezed fruit juice at breakfast. The location on a picturesque square, with a charming church and a stunning English garden, offered breathtaking views of the lovely port.

The stairs were a bit challenging, especially when carrying luggage up and down the small spiral staircase. Lack of privacy in the room's toilet area and no furniture to put clothes or luggage on.
