We had a delightful overnight stay at Le Chardon in Chardonnay. Sophie and Flo were friendly and informative hosts, making us feel welcome. The restaurant served excellent home-cooked food and had an impressive selection of wines and beers. The tastefully decorated rooms were clean and comfortable. The quiet village location ensured a good night's sleep. We appreciate the dog-friendly policy and the convenient public car park across the street. We hope to return.

We got great value for our money at Le Chardon - the room was clean and cool, and the included breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. The location was just what we wanted, a peaceful village with lovely surroundings, and the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating.

We stayed overnight on our way South. Sophie and Flo were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the included breakfast was perfect. The food was delicious, and Matthieu was an excellent waiter/barman. The beautiful surroundings and cold beer made our stay one of the nicest we've had as a family.

Would recommend this hotel.

amazing stay at this charming bistro hotel in chardonnay! exceeded my expectations with friendly hosts, delicious food, and great wine selection. felt like a true french village experience with english hosts. a hidden gem in the heart of beautiful burgundy countryside. highly recommended!

The owners are incredibly welcoming and create a fun and relaxed atmosphere in this simple hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the countryside. The food, prepared by the owner, was top-notch and reasonably priced. They even had gluten-free options available. The location is perfect for wine lovers, with nearby vineyards offering delicious local varieties. The young couple running the hotel are doing an EXCEPTIONAL job, with upgraded facilities and a friendly attitude. Can't wait to come back!

The hotel was conveniently located just 15 minutes off Route du Soleil, making it an ideal stopover on our journey. The owners of the hotel were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The simple rooms were comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained. we loved the fact that they had a great selection of wine and beer to choose from, which perfectly complemented the reasonably priced meals they served.

One minor drawback was that it was a bit challenging to find the hotel if you didn't have a good map, as it is located in a small village. the bed in our room was not the most comfortable, which made it slightly difficult to get a good night's sleep.
