This place was absolutely wonderful! The location was ideal for walking around and exploring the old town. I loved how close it was to the Saône River, the view from my room was simply magnificent. The staff here were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided me with great information about the city and recommended some fantastic restaurants. The room itself was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities. I particularly appreciated the air conditioning, which was a relief on hot summer days. In addition, the breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to start the day off right.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Parking was difficult to find, and we were lucky to find a space nearby. Some of the receptionists were not very pleasant or welcoming.

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, as it was close to the old city, main city, cafes, bars, and even a supermarket. I loved being able to explore the charming old quarter and take leisurely walks along the riverside. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Nicolas. They spoke English fluently and were able to provide great recommendations for places to visit.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. However, I would have liked a bit more natural light in the room, as the window was small and high.

the hotel was a great base for sightseeing, staff were friendly and helpful. the room was large and comfortable. only downside was the lack of basic amenities in the room.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it was within close proximity to the main shopping district and tourist attractions. We enjoyed watching Champions League football on the river bank just a short walk away. The hotel facilities were excellent, with quiet and comfortable rooms equipped with double windows. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, providing us with wonderful dining recommendations. Additionally, the breakfast offered in the morning was great and satisfied our needs.

Amazing design, beautiful common areas, great location. The staff was nice, but it's frustrating when they can't keep the breakfast supplies up to date. So much effort for a milk jug!

I had a fantastic stay at a centrally located hotel in Lyon. The staff at Le Phenix Hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is located right at the edge of the old town and on the river, making it convenient for exploring both areas. The lobby and lounge area have been beautifully renovated inside a historic building, providing a charming atmosphere. Additionally, the room I stayed in, which was the largest I've ever had in France, was superbly renovated and had much-needed air conditioning. Despite a slight issue with the hot water, the manager quickly resolved it and even offered us a free breakfast as compensation. it was a great experience.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with key attractions and the old town just a few minutes' walk away. The staff were also very helpful, especially Julian who went out of his way to book us a reservation at one of the best local restaurants. Additionally, the breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of options including fresh cut fruit.

One drawback was the limited parking available at the hotel, with only four spaces and a high fee of 22 euros per night. Another downside was the small size of the rooms, and in particular, the bathroom.
