We spent a cozy Christmas in a charming old building surrounded by stunning countryside. The food was decadent, with locally sourced ingredients and excellent wine choices. Our room was cozy with beautiful views of the picturesque village and the trees. We also appreciated the friendly service and the opportunity to explore the local vineyards and medieval villages.

The lack of air conditioning made it a bit stuffy in the room, and it was challenging to get a good night's sleep on the small bed. The village is peaceful, but it is a little remote, so getting around can be a challenge.

I recently stayed at Le Prince Noir in Serignac-sur-Garonne for a few nights after a long day on the motorway. The hotel was an oasis of calm and the staff were excellent. The evening meal and breakfast were both fantastic, and the pool was a nice bonus. The hotel is in a great location with opportunities for walks or runs along the canal. The building itself is interesting and characterful, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
