I recently had a fantastic stay at a motel near Verdun on the Meuse river. The location was perfect for exploring historic sites and enjoying the peaceful countryside. The rooms were bright, spacious and had roll-down blinds, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including delicious coffee, fresh fruit, and pastries.

The beds were a bit old and uncomfortable.

Great location for visiting WWI sites, and friendly staff that ensured our bikes were securely stored. the spacious and clean rooms were well equipped with a fridge, and we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings overlooking a beautiful pasture. Breakfast was delicious and served by a friendly lady.

The absence of Wi-Fi in the room was quite inconvenient, and we had to go to the reception area to access the internet.
