Whether by taking public transit or walking, it is quite good and very handy to all the tourist attractions. The staff is extremely polite, kind, and caring. They are amazing and speak English fluently. The rooms are clean and the hotel feels very authentic and French. The lobby and coffee area are charming and the breakfast area in the basement is super charming. The Portuguese gentleman at the reception is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like you're part of a small community.
