I recently stayed at Mercure near the railway station for 4 nights. The location was perfect with easy access to transportation options, including a fast bus route to the airport. The spacious rooms were well-equipped and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the hotel restaurant served delicious, albeit slightly pricier, meals compared to nearby options.

We stayed in a charming hotel located in an old building close to the station. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transport and plenty of restaurants around. The view from our room was lovely, overlooking the bustling city streets.

We had a very comfortable stay at this chic hotel. the decor was stylish and the hotel was environmentally conscious. the room was quiet and faced away from the main road. We appreciated the large glass bottle of water for refilling at the filtered water stations on level 1 and 3. the hotel's location, directly opposite the station and tram, was convenient. There was also a cafe nearby. the staff were friendly and helpful, and they even arranged to keep our medication in the hotel fridge.

Not obvious to find

I had a lovely stay at the Mercure. My room had a stunning roof view and a window that I could actually open! The hotel's location, right opposite St Jean's railway station, was incredibly convenient. The staff were super helpful and happy, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, and it was easy to hop on the tram to explore the city.

As much as I enjoyed my stay, there were a few minor issues. my credit card was unexpectedly debited for a deposit, even though my room was prepaid.

Gorgeous architecture. 25-30 min walk to city center, easily accessible by taxi or Uber. Modern and clean lobby with friendly staff. Convenient location near train and tram. Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds, large TV, and opening window. Comparable to upscale US hotels. Perfect for eco-conscious travelers.

Location and staff were the best aspects of my weekend stay. the hotel was conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. the staff members were helpful and welcoming, offering assistance whenever needed. Another advantage was the express breakfast, which was good value for the price.

The carpets in the hallways and lift were dirty and unpleasantly smelly. the water was served in glass jars that had been standing for some time, which was not very hygienic.

The 24-hour reception is helpful for travel planning. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and have recently renovated bathrooms.
