I recently stayed at the Mercure in Avignon for a few days. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Palace of the Popes, making it perfect for sightseeing. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel is situated near a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes, offering plenty of dining options right at your doorstep.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. I was able to easily visit all the attractions and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. The reception staff, especially Yoanne, were incredibly helpful and made my stay even better. They went above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed. Despite not being a 4-star hotel, the quality of service and the location made up for it.

Great location , right in the heart of the city and close to all the main attractions. We were able to walk everywhere and didn't need to use public transportation at all. the hotel is also conveniently located near restaurants and shops.

No air conditioning , the lack of air conditioning was a bit uncomfortable, especially on warmer days. It would have been nice to have the option to cool down the room.

We were able to step out into the old cobbled streets and enjoy walking around, with all the eateries open until late. Plus, it was right next to the famous Palais des Papes, so we had a stunning view from our room.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be beat, right in the heart of the city center, next to the famous Papal Palace. We loved being able to step out and explore the bustling Place de l'Horloge and all the nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always answering our questions and giving great recommendations. We even received a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, right at the Place de l'Horloge in the center of Avignon, overlooking the square and next to the Papal Palace. The room in the old building had a balcony with a great view. The spacious room and bathroom with a rainforest shower were a plus. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful.
