Our romantic escape was filled with great surprises - the hotel provided us with complimentary champagne and chocolates upon arrival, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers later on. the location couldn't be better - close to a lively market, shopping center, and train station. We also enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room with a stunning view of the city.

The staff wasn't the friendliest - we had some trouble with room service and bar staff not wanting to bring us empty glasses and a bottle key. the breakfast was also a bit disappointing - the scrambled eggs were odd and there were no boiled eggs available.

My recent stay at Mercure was a delight. The decor in the rooms was clean and modern, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The large bathroom was an added bonus, making for a pleasant and convenient stay. The location of the hotel was also great, although it was situated in a quieter part of the city, it was still within walking distance to all the attractions.

One small inconvenience was the parking situation. We had to give our car to the hotel to park in their car park, which was not mentioned in the hotel details and didn't quite sit well with us.
