The value for money at Metropol was great, with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the city center and beach.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety.

For a family with kids, the hotel's location couldn't have been better. It was conveniently placed near the train station, making it easy for us to arrive and depart. it was very close to the city center, allowing us to explore a variety of restaurants and bars within just a few minutes' walk. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with a comfortable bed and good WiFi. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

One downside was that the breakfast finished at 10 am on Sunday, which felt a bit early for families like ours who tend to have a slower start.

For a post ferry night, the location of the hotel is slightly dodgy with questionable looking characters loitering around. However, we had a lovely welcome at the reception and Anthony, the night manager, went the extra mile to find me something to eat after a late check-in. The twin room had a fab bathroom and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the bar in the evening.

The shower in the bathroom was inside the bath, making it a bit risky for older people to step over.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always providing a warm welcome. the rooms were comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. the location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the city. the free parking provided was a great bonus, saving us the hassle of finding a spot.

The room had everything we needed; it even had a private shower and toilet. the beds were cozy, and we appreciated having an electric kettle and tea and coffee facilities in the room. the hotel location was convenient as it was only a short stroll away from the nearby attractions and restaurants.

The only downside of staying here was the noise level. As the hotel was close to the train station, we could hear the trains rolling throughout the night.
