Lovely surroundings, warm welcome, delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, friendly owners.

Nothing, it is perfect.

We had the best time at chateau du Landel. We were there for 9 nights while our teenage daughters participated in a team competition. The atmosphere is relaxing, like being home but without any worries--I felt like it was home and the owners were our family! But, the food is BETTER than home!We brought the whole team for dinner a couple of nights and they had fun in the basement playing pool/billiards and ping pong before dinner and then had the best dinners for their stay in France! One night the adults had a champagne cocktail party in the beautiful drawing room! The owners are the sweetest people and made our stay even better than we could ever have expected. We met many interesting people at breakfast and dinner--one who actually invited us to tour a chateau they had purchased just 2 weeks earlier--it was amazing! Great memories! And we love the shaggy donkey Martin!!

Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, peaceful location. The hotel had a serene and picturesque setting, with staff who were cheerful and polite. The peaceful location allowed for a relaxing experience. We also enjoyed the reasonably priced wine list and the good choice of wines available.

Bland food, uncomfortable bedding. The starters were quite bland, and overall, the meals were average.

Enjoyed stay during a business trip, great outdoor pool for relaxation after work hours and refreshing morning laps. The rooms provided a spacious and silent environment to work in, which was a plus when there were tight deadlines to meet. the staff was polite and welcoming, always ready to make the stay comfortable and help with any needs.

The Wi-Fi connection was limited and inconsistent, which made it difficult to work efficiently. although it was near a key location, the hotel lacked nearby restaurants or food options, which required a car or taxi ride to access.

The hotel is located in a delicious forest, perfect for those who love nature. There are plenty of sightseeing options nearby, such as a visit to Monet's garden at Giverny. The rooms are spacious and clean, with lovely views of the garden. The service is friendly and personalized, making you feel right at home. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.

The table tennis room is located in a dark basement, which may not be ideal for some guests.

My husband and I stayed at Chateau Du Landel for 3 nights and it quickly became our favorite French hotel. The remote location was perfect for our desire to unwind and enjoy some peace and tranquility. The chateau itself is stunning, with elegant rooms that made us feel like we were staying in a stately home. The friendly and attentive staff, along with the excellent restaurant service and meals, made our stay even more memorable. We absolutely loved the beautiful walks around the grounds and the unique games room in the cellar. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem in the future!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations during our recent stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room, with its three sets of opening French windows, overlooked a beautiful garden and provided us with a superb view. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings of the sitting rooms inside the chateau created a truly atmospheric experience. We also enjoyed the peacefulness of the garden, where we were served wine and enjoyed the serene ambiance. The pool was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of loungers for relaxation. the value for money, attention to detail, and the location of this hotel in a delicious forest made it a truly memorable experience.
