The hotel's location on the plaza in front of the beautiful Basilica made it convenient to explore the city. The clean and well-maintained rooms were small but charming. The hotel facilities included a popular restaurant with a good range of local and adventurous dishes. The staff was helpful and determined to make my stay a success.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The old building has been transformed into a super stylish boutique hotel. The location is jaw-dropping, right on the bustling square with the stunning Basilica. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the restaurant/bar/cafe blew us away with its delicious food. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing night at this hotel in France. the staff at Sy-La Terrasse were extremely welcoming and helpful, from guiding us to the luggage drop-off point to offering us a much-needed welcome drink after a long day of driving. the room was spacious, modern, and quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the location of the hotel, right across from the stunning Cathedral of Sainte Marie-Madeleine, was perfect. the morning breakfasts were delicious and the dinners at the hotel's restaurant were outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We got great value for our money at Sy-La Terrasse. The room was perfect, with high-quality fittings and lovely views of the square in front of the basilica. The location was stunning, right across from the cathedral, and the staff treated us warmly and went out of their way to ensure we were happy.

The morning meal could be improved with a wider variety of options.

the kindness and attention of the hotel personnel were simply captivating. From the moment we received a welcoming e-mail with parking instructions to their assistance in restaurant bookings, their pre-sales and after-sales services were noteworthy. the interior of the hotel, which is located in an old building in front of a beautiful cathedral, has been renovated with extremely good taste. Our room was cosy, clean, bright, and had all the modern amenities we needed. the highlight of our stay was definitely the shower, which was the best experience we had in France this time. the breakfast provided was excellent, making our overall experience at Sy-La Terrasse truly exceptional.

We stayed at a small hotel opposite the cathedral, and it was perfect! the room was fine, and the restaurant was excellent, with large portions and delicious local beer. Breakfast was fabulous with a variety of options including freshly squeezed orange juice, ham, hard-boiled eggs, local cheeses, croissants. the owners clearly have excellent taste, as seen in the charming details of the rooms and the small restaurant. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure our happiness. a wonderful experience in a charming village.

We were pleasantly surprised by the charming blend of medieval and modern elements during our recent stay. The room we were initially assigned had issues with warm water, but the hotel quickly offered us a room in a nearby building at no extra cost. The ancient architecture combined with modern infrastructure made for a unique and comfortable experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, and the area was peaceful and quiet. We would definitely consider returning to this fascinating hotel, where we felt like we were sleeping in the same place as the Duke of Burgundy once did. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Vezelay.

The room was spacious, modern, and quiet, with a heavenly bed. The hotel's restaurant was outstanding, with delicious food and excellent service. I also loved the fact that the hotel was located right by a stunning basilica and in the heart of the town's bustling square.

While my stay was amazing overall, I did find a couple of minor drawbacks. there was no elevator, which might be a concern for guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage.

had a peaceful break in Vezelay, Sy-La Terrasse exceeded my expectations. Charming rooms, clean, and not noisy despite the restaurant downstairs. Fantastic location near the basilica, friendly staff, and a great breakfast. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Sy-La Terrasse for our first visit to Vézelay. The room was modern and stylish, with all the amenities we needed. The state-of-the-art bathroom and excellent quality bed linen made our stay very comfortable. The view of the basilica from our room was breathtaking. The hotel's location near the basilica was perfect, and the restaurant served the best meals in town. The owners' attention to detail and friendly service made our experience even more enjoyable.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The on-site restaurant was a major plus, offering delicious meals and a cozy atmosphere. Best of all, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The parking situation was a bit challenging, as finding the best parking spot required some directions from the restaurant. all the parking in the area was pay parking, although overnight parking was free.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The warm welcome, tastefully modernised room in an ancient building, and stunning location next to the church were all highlights. The delicious meal at the restaurant, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and superb breakfast added to our enjoyment. The hotel also went above and beyond by allowing us to picnic in their outdoor dining room during a rainstorm. Highly recommend!
