We had a great time staying at this hotel. It was located in a convenient spot, close to the modern shopping area's and the Old Town which was as lively as we needed. The room had a beautiful view, overlooking the garden. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff provided excellent service, always willing to assist us with our needs. The breakfast offered a variety of options and was delicious. we were impressed with the facilities and room advantages.

Great spa and an amazing view from the hotel. Staff members were very accommodating and pleasant. There was also a restaurant close to the hotel that had delicious food.

The hotel's food options were minimal and not very enticing. the quality of the food was not up to par with a five-star hotel.

Our stay at Villa Maia was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully designed with attention to detail, and the spacious rooms were a delight. We especially loved the pool and fitness area, overlooking the serene garden. The dedicated team of people working at this hotel truly take pride in delivering a high standard of service. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The concierge handled all our requests promptly and professionally, making our stay hassle-free. The staff's general demeanor was always friendly and smiling, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The nearby restaurant, Tetedoie, was truly one of the best in Lyon, offering an exceptional dining experience. Additionally, the mini bar snacks were included in the room rate, a pleasant surprise. The movie selection provided in the room was also stupendous, offering a variety of entertainment options. our experience at Villa Maia was superb, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lyon.

This venue is perfect for a luxurious stay. the spa centre features an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and treatment room. the massage was excellent and the spa lounge was tranquil. the sun terrace offers sun loungers with a great view over the stunning garden area. the heated swimming pool was also a delightful touch. In-room breakfast was prompt and very delicious, with a Continental breakfast offering a large selection of items to choose from. the private facilities in the room were outstanding.

The only minor issue was that portions at the bar were somewhat on the small side. Other than that, the service was exceptional, and the location advantages are great for those looking to stay in the heart of the city.
