Located in a peaceful forest with stunning views. Personal breakfast service and delicious homemade marmalade. Impressive on-site restaurant frequented by locals. Kind and accommodating staff even served late dinner. Light, airy room with balcony overlooking the valley.

What a fantastic New Year's experience! the stunning views of the surrounding hills and river were breathtaking, which made our stay unforgettable. the staff were really friendly, making us feel at home. the breakfast was delicious, offering a range of options to satisfy everybody's taste. we appreciated the proximity to the local town and walking trails that allowed us to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

however, this was to be expected as it was the holiday season. the rooms were a bit on the small side, making us feel slightly cramped at times.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location on a hill overlooking the valley was breathtaking. My room had a balcony with stunning views. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The breakfast served on the terrace was delightful, especially with the amazing view. The handmade marmalade was a special treat.

All was perfect.

Charming mountain-top hotel with a great restaurant. Location is superb, nestled in the woods with amazing views. The owners are charming and the personal attention is commendable. The restaurant offers gourmet meals with homemade specialties. Rooms have all you need and the recently renovated bathrooms are a plus. The hotel is easily accessible by car. The overall experience at Berghotel Wintersberg is highly recommended.
