Our stay at Buchholz Downtown was excellent. The location was perfect, as we were able to enjoy a short pleasant walk along the river to the Cathedral and many places to eat. We also appreciated the close proximity to public transit stops. The beds in the hotel were incredibly comfortable, and we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy them. The hotel had a family atmosphere, and our big room provided a comfortable stay for our city break. The breakfast at Buchholz Downtown exceeded our expectations, and the staff were friendly and hospitable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a small sink in the bathroom and limited warm dishes at breakfast, we would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. our experience at Buchholz Downtown was superb.

The hotel is located right in the city center, making it a perfect base for exploring the nearby Rhin River and all the attractions in the area. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice old-fashioned furniture. It was a pleasant surprise to find that some of the rooms even have a bath, which adds a touch of luxury to the stay. The breakfast, included in the rate, offers a good variety of options, including delicious jams.

Some guests have raised concerns about the size and water pressure in the showers, which may need improvement.

The room was comfortable and clean, perfect for a budget-friendly stay during Christmas. the breakfast was generous and enjoyable, offering a variety of options. the hotel's location was key, as it was situated near the central train station and several restaurants.

The bathroom was small and the shower was a bit messy. the hand-held shower head was leaking badly and the shower base was too small, making the shower curtain stick to us.

We stayed at Buchholz Downtown for one night during our family trip. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main train station and city center. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with room 19 being our favorite. The staff was incredibly welcoming and understanding, making us feel right at home. The hotel was quiet, even though there were plenty of restaurants nearby. a great experience and we can't wait to return!
