We had an amazing trip with friends! The hotel was super charming, and the location made it easy for us to explore. We enjoyed cycling around and hiking nearby, too. Breakfast was delicious with fresh options. Otto, the owner, was very helpful, finding us a great local restaurant. Safe parking was a plus!

One thing to note is that the room we booked had a shared terrace instead of a private one, which was a bit misleading. Still, it didn't ruin our stay.

Staying at this charming hotel was a treat for our family, especially with our two little kids. The spacious family apartment was perfect for us, allowing easy access to explore Rothenburg’s quiet streets and enjoy the festive decorations without the crowds. The kids loved the beautiful gardens too!

Had a fantastic time with friends! The breakfast had stunning views and was delicious. We explored the medieval town walls and took a short hike nearby, totally worth it! Otto, the owner, was super helpful with local recommendations. Don't miss the terrace along the fortress wall. it was a perfect hangout spot for us.

One thing to note is that the hotel doesn't have an elevator, so pack light if you're staying on the upper floors.

Recommend it for those seeking charm

The host was a real character , putting in hours like he was decades younger. I spent mornings in the garden , sipping coffee and taking in the views a forgotten luxury in this crazy world.

It was pricey , but I guess you pay for the experience.
