Consider me officially shocked

I was astounded by the beautiful decor and welcoming staff. Our room had a fantastic view and was well-equipped. On my birthday, I was surprised with a stunning Sachertorte in our room! The location is unbeatable, right across from the station and close to all amenities. I can't wait to return!

The taps in our room were old-fashioned with separate knobs for hot and cold water, which made it challenging to find a comfortable temperature.

the room was shockingly tiny, and for those outrageous prices, I expected a complimentary welcome gift, atleast. the so-called wellness spa was just a sad room in the basement—how cozy! also, returning to a bathroom that reeked of sewage was just the cherry on top of this debacle. almost considered a good review, but just couldn’t.

My stay was fantastic, as I was just a few steps from the beautiful old town and only a short walk to the stunning lakefront, making my weekend strolls incredibly enjoyable. the reception staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home during my visit, making me want to return soon.

the hotel was charming in theory, but we found the check-in process frustratingly slow. I woudl've almost given a good review, but imagine having to check for bed bugs and dealing with a mess on the mattress, only to be treated like it was my fault. the limited bike storage was another delightful inconvenience. absolutley not impressed.

We loved the breakfast and enjoyed our time at the weekly market. Soft drinks were refreshing after our stroll to the harbor. The bike storage was handy since we explored the area on e-bikes. Perfect for a group vacation! Don't miss out on the boat trips. they were a highlight.

We had a small issue with our welcome drinks at the bar. The bartender’s misunderstanding about restrictions led to an awkward situation, but the staff made it right eventually.

We loved staying at this historic hotel with my cousin! The location is perfect, just steps from the train station, and we enjoyed a lovely stroll to the harbor. The breakfast in the beautiful dining room was hands down the best part of our trip.
