This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location is absolutely perfect - right in the heart of the city center and near the port for easy access to boat trips on the lake. Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive. I loved the comfortable bed with modern bathroom and the view from the window was just like the picture on the hotel's website. Lastly, the breakfast included a wide variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone.

All was great, couldn't ask for more.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the bustling pedestrian area, allowing guests to easily explore the city's attractions. Additionally, guests appreciate the convenience of being close to the train station without the disturbance of train noise.

The lack of in-room tea/coffee facilities could be inconvenient for some guests.

I recently stayed at the charming Romantik Hotel Barbarossa for a weekend getaway. The hotel's location in the historic Altstadt was perfect, just a short walk to the harbor. At night, it was wonderfully peaceful, but during the day, I could hear the street musicians performing, adding a delightful touch to my stay. The hotel restaurant was quaint and served delicious food. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, the safe and convenient garage was just a five-minute walk away. a fantastic experience!

I did have a couple of issues with the hotel. There was a permanent food smell in my room on the 4th floor and in the public areas, which wasn't very pleasant.

Located perfectly for exploring the town and taking lake trips. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served fantastic food, the best during our trip. The breakfast was also very good with a variety of options.

Had a great New Year's stay at a hotel in a beautiful medieval building. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the historic center, with easy access to shopping and dining. the breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great selection of German breads and pastries. the staff were attentive and made our stay very enjoyable.

The room on the fourth floor was a bit small and the bed was not very comfortable. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which made the room a bit stuffy.

Great location, friendly staff, period features, firm bed, spacious room.

Felt like treated like royalty, nothing to complain about.
