I recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip. The location was perfect, close to the city center and main attractions. The hotel itself is in a charming old building, but the interior is modern and comfortable. The rooms have a unique touch, each named after a famous Swedish figure. The breakfast was delicious and the backyard provided a great view of the cathedral. a great stay for a reasonable price.

Would recommend this hotel.

loved my recent stay in uppsala! akademihotellet was even better this time. big room with a sofa and tv, plus a solid bathroom. breakfast was amazing with a huge variety of food and coffee/cookies all day. staff was welcoming and the view of the cathedral was beautiful.

The breakfast spread had everything I needed and more to fuel up for a day of exploring the city. the location was great, walking distance from all the key attractions. I also really appreciated the availability of snacks and lounge areas throughout the day.

The bathroom in my room was a bit cramped with a strange ledge that posed a tripping hazard. the bed was a bit narrow and soft, which may not be comfortable for some guests.
