Hotel Burg Arras Alf is located on top of a hill, offering stunning mountain views. The castle itself is a beautiful ancient place that served as a small museum, allowing guests free access to the dungeon and the weapons room. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with the turret room having a balcony and a wonderful view of the valley. The service provided by the friendly owners and the waitstaff, such as Andrea, is outstanding. The breakfast spread is dreamlike, and the restaurant serves tasty regional dishes with good wine.

The road up to the castle is narrow, winding, and steep, making it a bit challenging to navigate.

Beautiful scenery and wonderful old building. The view of the valley was breathtaking and the castle itself was impressive. The atmosphere made us feel like we stepped back in time. We also appreciated the opportunity to explore the historic parts of the castle and the garden.

The road up the hill to get to the castle was difficult to navigate, especially at night. We also struggled to communicate with the staff as they did not speak much English.

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in a historic castle with a turret, balcony, and breathtaking views of the valley. The restaurant at the castle served delicious regional dishes, including the famous wild goulash. I even got to explore the castle's tower and dungeon, adding to the overall charm of my stay. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, and I loved sipping mineral water in the turret sitting room. I highly recommend this unique and memorable experience.
