I had a wonderful check-in experience at Hotel Matamba, Phantasialand Erlebnishotel. The staff were friendly and efficient, making me feel valued as a customer. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the park. The theming throughout the hotel was impressive and added to the overall experience. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection of food. The hotel's location, within walking distance to Phantasialand, was convenient. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay. I had a great time at Hotel Matamba, Phantasialand Erlebnishotel and would consider staying here again in the future.

The hotel had a fun and unique theme, with African safari decorations throughout. the rooms were well designed, resembling the inside of tents with mosquito net hangings. the hotel also offered African entertainment in the lobby, which was a nice addition.

The Wi-Fi was only available in public areas, which was inconvenient.

Great theming, comfortable rooms, decent breakfast choices, and location close to attractions like theme parks and shops are the best aspects of this hotel. the hotel's African theme was impressive and well thought out. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, which helped us relax better. the breakfast offered a decent variety of food choices that catered to everyone's dietary preferences. Lastly, the hotel's convenient location allowed us to explore the surrounding attractions without any hassle.

The language barrier with some staff members and the aggressive attitude of one of the bartenders was the worst for us. We encountered some staff members who did not speak English fluently, which made certain situations challenging.

Loved the unique theme throughout the hotel, it really added to the experience. The location of this hotel is unbeatable if you're planning to visit the Phantasialand theme park. It's either a short walk or directly in the park, which made it so convenient for us. The attention to detail in the rooms, from the decor to the views over the park, was truly impressive. It made our stay even more enjoyable

One small drawback is that the check-in time starts from 3:30pm, which can feel a bit late for some guests, limiting the time available to settle into the room before heading out to explore the park.
